My schedule -Saturday/Sunday – Household tasks, shopping for groceries.
This has been my weekly schedule for the last few years. Needless to say that whenever my mind is not applied to something serious I feel like wasting valuable time. Not sure if its normal but I tend to always be full of all sorts of thoughts e.g. thoughts of tomorrow’s agenda, thoughts of how to make more money, thoughts of the future.
But as I think of tomorrow, today goes by, weeks go by, years go by....................
I am today in my late thirties and often I feel like the best years are gone, it is depressing.
Over the years success, set- backs, broken dreams, disillusions, stress, traffic jams, nervousness, sadness, alcohol, cigarettes, fast food have all impacted on me so that , joke aside, I feel old and depressed!!!!
You better pay attention folks, time goes fast and monotony sets in quickly.
Where are the days when life was fun? Are they long gone?
Surely not, life is a gift from god to each of us. Life is not meant to be miserable, life is meant to be fun, excitement..........happiness. Life should be enjoyment at stages.....even at 30, 40, 60 or 80.
Yes there are setbacks, surely there are broken dreams......................but through it all you can opt to either play the victim or get over them stronger..........attitude!
Our new friend Brad Montgomery, a motivational speaker, suggests the following on his website.......... “happiness is an attitude. It’s a choice. But an often neglected portion of the happiness equation goes beyond attitude, mind-set and emotion. To do it right— to be your happiest— you also have to get physically involved with creating some joy for yourself. To be happy you’ve got to DO something”. I totally agree with Brad, if you have a monotonous schedule like mine then you can’t be happy.
I realise that I have somewhat failed to cater for my inner self; I failed to brighten up my life; I forgot to feed my soul with joy and happiness.

BUT I long to smile again and I have realised that I need to DO something about it.
Lots of love
