6 Ways to Boost Energy in Difficult Times

Leaders get that high energy is a prized currency. You can have big goals and boundless opportunities, but if you have no energy nothing gets done. The best athletes manage their energy superbly. So should you. Here are 6 ways to elevate your energy levels during stressful times:

1. Do something physical daily (i.e., walk, swim, run, stretch).

2. Drink lots of water

3. Eat lighter, smaller meals (and stop eating when you've had enough-not when you are full)

4. Consciously breathe more deeply

5. Read inspirational books, listen to motivating audio programs and talk to positive people

6. Listen to great music

  1. Great! I confirm that it really works...

In time of tiredness, i often try to, more or less, go through those ways, to get energized... For instance, after a tough day at work, i usually get on my trainers and have some footing, jogging and that works!

I totally agree that listening to great music is a magical mental boost as well! What my friends would agree with, I always say to them this phrase:

"Do not forget the power of music to change your mood"!

I would like to add a 7th way - "Try to take a day break just to relax"

    Cheers
